Course labeling
The Mathematics and Computer Science departments recently completed the transition to our new DS label for many of our key courses within the data science degree. The new label starts Spring 2022 and are now shown in the catalog.

Of the above list, MATH 498R and MATH 499 will continue to be offered and used by the mathematics degrees. The data science majors will now register for the DS equivalents.
Issues with iPlan
There are some issues with iPlan not showing you the updated labels and saying that the previous courses are not offered after Winter 2022. That is a bug and not correct. We are working with the university to get this issue addressed.
