Overview of BYU-I Analytics at SLC Analytics Industry Day (October 28, 2022)
On October 28, 2022, Ensign College, Brigham Young University-Idaho, and The Research and Business Development Center partnered to get data science industry professionals mingling with undergraduate data science and analytics majors. It was a fantastic experience.
We had Matthew Sadowski provide the keynote address on the state of business analytics and business intelligence and his journey into his role as Vice President in this role. Troy Beynon and J. Hathaway shared details about the analytics programs at Ensign and BYU-I. Finally, we had a panel of industry experts share their thoughts during a Q&A session. We had 13 industry professionals and 70 students attend, with many other faculty and staff from Ensign and BYU-I.
