With a resume and a few minutes, what impact can you make on an interviewer? This Fall semester, come prepared to find out.
- Requirements: A printed resume and willingness to meet a lot of industry professionals.
- Overview: You will have face time with many industry professionals and practice your first-minute interview skills. Each participant will get feedback on their resume, presentation skills, and industry preparation.
- Food: Pizza and Drinks will be provided.

Participate in our Fall 2025 event to help our students improve their interviewing skills!

Many schools, including BYU-I, have career fairs. Typically, these events are attended by Human Resources or Recruiting staff who are on campus to recruit for specific job positions. This activity does not require you to have a position open to participate. We request industry professionals in computer science and data science related work who can mentor our students on the interview process. You can participate as an official representative of your company or as a friend of BYU-I.

The activity will last approximately 90 minutes, with 60 minutes of speed interviewing and panel discussion groups following the interviews, during which our industry professionals can provide general advice and answer questions.

Each interview will last 3-4 minutes. After the interview, we will ask you to score the student on a few key metrics based on your conversation.
